Chick-fil-A Booming on College Campuses, and Even Cows Are Crossing the Road to Get There

Chick-fil-A is growing in popularity on college campuses across the nation despite efforts at some schools to ban the restaurants.

The Cathy family founded Chick-fil-A and is known for their support of traditional marriage and biblical values like honoring the Sabbath.

Restaurant Business has reported it's grown so much in recent years that it's on track to become the third largest restaurant chain in the country.

And now the College Fix reports Chick-fil-A is on almost 300 campuses even though progressive groups have protested them for being perceived as anti-LGBTQ, simply because the owners stand for the biblical definition of marriage being between one man and one woman.

Chick-fil-A leaders say they don't discriminate and the company doesn't have a political or social agenda.

Still, liberal-leaning colleges have blocked Chick-fil-A from coming to campus. When Rider University in New Jersey blocked the chain last autumn, the dean of the College of Business announced she'd be resigning due to the university's hostility to the Christian values Chick-fil-A espouses.

Meanwhile, it's not just college students who are flocking to Chick-fil-A. Even cows are heading there.

The beloved restaurant chain just recently got some free advertising when a loose cow was seen on video roaming the streets of Noblesville, Indiana, crossing the road to get to a Chick-fil-A. The video went viral with more than a million views in 48 hours.

Chick-fil-A is known for its cow mascots which hold signs that say "Eat Mor Chikin," but this wasn't a planned cow ad. It just happened naturally.
