CBN Reporter, Dan Reany, “When I met Prabhudas, I never would have guessed how often he used to play hooky.”

Prabhudas explained, “I lied and told my parents I was sick to stay home.  Sometimes I left the house and skipped school to play in the street.”

Then Prabhudas started stealing.

“I took money from my mummy, and my daddy, to buy candy or whatever else I wanted,” said Prabhudas.

He kept deceiving his parents and stealing from them.  Then he saw an episode of SuperBook at an after-school program sponsored by CBN.

Prabhudas said, “I didn’t like school, but I always liked going to the learning center after class.  I love SuperBook, and the story of Jacob and Esau is my favorite one. The first time I saw it, I thought, ‘Oh no, I’m lying to my parents, too!’”

Prabhudas took the lesson to heart.

“I knew I must not lie anymore,” said Prabhudas.  “I told my parents the truth and asked for their forgiveness.  I asked God to forgive me, too.  Now, I don’t lie anymore, and I go to school like I am supposed to.  I only play during the breaks.”

Dan said, “Prabhudas still enjoys watching SuperBook and doing the lessons from the SuperBook curriculum. He wants to know more about the Bible, so he was thrilled when I gave him a Bible puzzle book. While we put a puzzle together, he told me SuperBook helped change his life.”

Prabhudas said, “Because of SuperBook, I stopped doing bad things, and I’m a good boy now.  Thank you CBN.”
