Vice President Mike Pence announced, Thursday, that Turkey has agreed to a five-day ceasefire in northeast Syria. Still, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are taking a stand against President Trump's decision to pull troops out of the region, and if this new peace plan falls apart, Congress is preparing increased sanctions against Turkey.
