Human Trafficking
CBN and its partners are uniquely positioned to respond to the problem of human trafficking and help rescue women and children from predators by easing the burden of poverty.
The Need
- Human trafficking is a worldwide epidemic.
- Experts estimate there are 27 million victims; their average age is only 12 years old.
- It is also estimated that more people, especially children, are enslaved today than at any other time in history.
- Modern-day slavery is fueled by a variety of circumstances: poverty, war, natural disasters, abductions, immigrant labor, and false adoptions.

What We Have Accomplished Together
- CBN's Orphan's Promise and partnerships with other worldwide organizations meet the needs of vulnerable and at-risk women and children, taking them from unsafe, unstable situations to places of safety that provide food, shelter, education, medical care, life-skills training, and love.
- In 2018, CBN's Orphan's Promise expanded our anti-trafficking efforts by helping break ground on 2 new homes that will rescue and restore survivors of sex trafficking. One is in Spain and the second one is in Orlando, Florida, which is ranked the 3rd highest for trafficking in the US.
- CBN's Orphan's Promise continues its work in Laos, providing vulnerable children with training and resources that help prevent drug addiction, sex trafficking and abuse. Through our partnerships with local churches and non-profit organizations these children also have an opportunity to hear the Gospel and receive Christian discipleship in a closed country.
With your generosity, these programs bring hope and relief to those in need, as an expression of God's unfailing love.
